Account Coordinator

As a pioneering biotech/health sciences communications agency since 1988, we have a unique understanding of our clients’ businesses. Russo Partners’ highly experienced counselors know how to translate science and medicine into clear messages that impact decision-makers in financial and business communities.

We are seeking a PR professional for an entry-level position within our private, boutique environment that offers many opportunities to build the foundational skills of the trade and put them into action. The right candidate will have a BA/BS degree in communications, liberal arts, business/marketing and a passion for science. PR agency experience is also a plus. Regardless, the candidate must have demonstrable written and verbal skills, familiarity with media and/or the financial community.

The role centers on writing, research, media relations, media monitoring, results reporting and measurement, project management, and administrative support. Promising candidates will be smart, driven, mature, and committed. Strong organizational skills, the desire to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are a must. Many staff members have made quick ascensions up the ranks, reflecting our performance-based view on professional development. As such, if the Account Coordinator consistently delivers quality work that meets prescribed deadlines, their responsibilities will evolve accordingly.

Our work will expose the new hire to emerging biotech, medtech, diagnostic and digital health companies worldwide. Many of these companies are at the forefront of true innovation, breaking ground in new areas with untapped potential. This creates an opportunity to work with c-suite entrepreneurs who value creativity.

While our culture is driven by what each employee brings to the agency, it is always reflective of the core values we embody: Trust, Passion, Forward Thinking, and Client Focus.

We offer extensive professional development opportunities, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package of medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401K and profit-sharing programs. This is a full-time position in New York, NY.

Please send resumes to and be sure to include a cover letter explaining how you/your work exemplifies our core values.
