The Denver Post: Strand Life Sciences opens U.S. headquarters at Fitzsimons in Aurora

Bangalore, India-based Strand, which developed a genetic sequencing test that analyzes cancer tumors and provides potential treatment options, last fall quietly settled some of its operations at the Fitzsimons Innovation Campus in Aurora.

When announcing the Aurora site’s emergence from so-called stealth mode this week, Strand officials said the local facility will serve as the company’s U.S. headquarters and also could play a key role in the future of cancer care.

The 20-person Strand site in Aurora is responsible for the development of Strand Advantage, a test that can analyze genomic changes in solid tumors and generate a list of federally approved treatment options and clinical trials within eight days.
